If you had to sum up your life philosophy in one sentence, what would it be?

If I had to sum up my life philosophy in one sentence, it would be Love. To choose love, give love, receive love and never let the world make you forget how beautiful it is to love and be loved.

I think love is one of the most beautiful things about being human and I’m not even talking about only romantic love but the kind of love you show yourself when you choose to give yourself grace, the love you show others even when you have nothing to gain, the love that allows you to be vulnerable, to show up and to care and the love that allows you to be intentional about the life you’re building.

When life becomes complicated and people are difficult, I never want to be so consumed by disappointments that I forget to love or become afraid of receiving it. Instead I want to live a life where those I meet feel a little better for knowing me. I want to give more than I take, find reasons to be grateful and never become too guarded to experience the beauty of genuine human connection.

I’m not sure if love solves everything but I do believe it makes so many things easier to bear. So, if there’s one thing I want to keep choosing, even on the difficult days, it’s Love.
