I’m sure many of you would be wondering what I was probably thinking about for this topic to have popped up in my mind and head.

Perfect Blemish– two very opposite words right! yet so awesome when put together. Well, how many of us agree that we are not at all flawless but indeed do have flaws? Flawlessness doesn’t mean that we have riches and so can afford whatever we want, it doesn’t also mean what Beyonce- no offense intended- sang in one of her songs “I woke up like this-flawless”. If we can honestly tell ourselves and come to the realization that we have flaws, only then will we understand this topic.

A blemish could be a sort of stain or like the English dictionary would describe it as a small flaw or spot that stains the appearance of something and also a moral defection or a character flaw.

How can a character flaw, moral defection, stain or spot be so good it is regarded as perfect. Let’s take for example, I talk a lot…mehn! don’t try me o…in Jenifa’s voice “i could talk you to death..” lol…I didn’t mean that tho, OK..that could be said to be a, better still, “my” blemish or rather a character flaw, after all too much of everything is bad but if I, being a chatter box can perfect it so well I could be an orator or anchor an occasion as an MC (Hmm…I really should consider this o…i am just kidding anyways).

Basket Mouth must have probably enjoyed mocking or on a lighter scale enjoyed “yabbing” people and some people may have considered it a character flaw but he decided to perfect this blemish and now he is a well known comedian and he also makes lots of money out of it. Many other stars alike may have used their blemish to make money in a good way one way or another.

Now don’t get me wrong, I haven’t said that you should be so good at stealing that you start robbing people, you could rather join any of the forces (Army or any other one) and use this blemish of yours to catch those who steal and also get paid for it.

My point therefore is that even with our  blemish, we should strive to make the best out of it; choose to be authentic and then it could be our own Perfect Blemish.
