There is a fine line between being good and being great. Being good according to the Merriam Webster dictionary means to be of somewhat high but not excellent quality but to be great means to be remarkable in all ramifications: magnitude, degree, effectiveness, quality, to mention but a few.

It is good to be good but better to be great. If you decide to be just good at what you do or people just see you as one who is good at what he does, it means there is someone out there doing the same thing you are doing way better than you are doing it, which equals the fact that there is a great person out there. For example, If I need to make a dress and I ask your opinion, I’m sure you would refer me to a great tailor and not a good one not because ‘the good one’ can’t make clothes but because ‘the great one’ can do it better, has got better packaging and pays attention to the tiniest of details. A good tailor can always be substituted but the great one even though he/she has a lot of other clothes to make can never be substituted. The same applies to every walks of life, there are good make up artists, good singers, good actors/actresses, good bloggers, good engineers, good doctors, good lawyers, name it but there are great ones too.

So no matter where you find yourself, no matter your profession, come out of your comfort zone, aspire to be great always and never allow yourself to be a second fiddle.

Till next time, be great, do great, #TeamGreatness, #IChoosetobeGreat. Love y’all.
