What are your favorite side-hustle ideas?

Let’s talk side hustles.

These days, it feels like everyone has one or at least everyone is thinking about starting one.

And honestly, I get it. Having an extra source of income sounds pretty good. I mean is the Nigerian economy a joke to you? Lol

But if I were starting one today, I wouldn’t just pick something because it’s trending. I’d want something that fits me; my skills, my interests and most importantly, something I can actually enjoying doing.

Here’s a few that comes to mind:

Writing & Blogging

This one is a no-brainer. Lol

I already love writing, and that’s one of the reasons I created Motiv8You. Blogging could eventually bring opportunities through ads, partnerships, affiliate marketing and other forms of content monetisation.

Food Business

You already know I love food. Lol

From cooking great meals to making snacks, desserts or small event catering, there’s definitely potential here. Gloria’s Treats (that’s the name of my food brand anyway) didn’t just appear out of thin air!

Virtual Assistance

With my customer experience background, tis is another one I’d consider. Helping businesses with admin tasks, customer service, scheduling or general support feels like a natural way to turn an existing skill into extra income.

Digital Products

Journals, planners, writing prompts, ebooks or templates are another idea I’d explore.

I love the thought of creating something useful once and being able to share it with more people.

Content Creation

Blogging, Pinterest and social media are already part of my world, so why not see where they can lead?

It takes consistency, patience and a lot of learning but there’s potential to turn content into another income stream.

But here’s the thing…

I don’t think a side hustle as to be complicated.

You don’t necessarily need to start something completely new. Sometimes, the best place to look is at what you already know how to do.

What do people always ask you for help with?

What do you enjoy doing?

What skill do you have that someone might actually pay for?

Start there.

Because your side hustle doesn’t have to look like everyone else’s.

Sometimes, you just need to start small and see where it takes you.
