I’m currently on a journey to build something I’m truly proud of, even when I don’t have everything figured out.

When I started Motiv8You, I knew I wanted a space where I could write, share my thoughts, tell stories, and connect with people but what I didn’t know was how much I would have to learn beyond writing. From setting up the website to figuring out SEO, creating content, promoting my work and trying to get people to actually read what I write, there has been a lot of learning on this journey.

Sometimes, I put so much thought into a post and wonder if anyone will read it. Sometimes, I try something new and have to go back to the drawing board. Other times, I simply have to admit that I don’t know what I’m doing and start learning some more.

But here’s what I’m learning so far.

You don’t have to know everything before you start. You just have to be willing to learn as you go. Consistency matters, but so does giving yourself room to make mistakes. Not every attempt will produce the result you want, and not every effort will receive the response you hoped for. Still, you learn, you adjust and you try again.

I’m also learning not to measure progress only by the results I can see. Sometimes, progress is simply having the courage to try something that once intimidated you or doing something today that you would have talked yourself out of a few months ago.

I’m nowhere near having it all figured out, but I’m no longer waiting until I do. I’m learning, building, making mistakes, correcting them, and showing up anyway and for now, that’s enough and I’m proud of myself for it.
